My Hopes and Dreams

I've realized that I a lot of the blogs I look at chronicle the daily lives of stay-at-home moms.  Maybe that's why I'm so hard on myself.  I simply don't have time to make homemade granola, cultivate 75 pinterest boards on birthday themes, or document the process of making a stupid looking papercraft.  I don't have a morning routine that involves coffee and quiet time, rushing off to pre-school, running errands, and checking the blogroll.  I'm only a little bitter and covetous of that lifestyle.

I used to go to sleep thinking about clippings from magazines, kitchen tile and cabinets, window treatments, and organized closets.  When I was 13, I had my own subscription to Martha Stewart Magazine.  When I get in bed these days - I fall asleep not thinking of anything.  BECAUSE I AM TIRED.

So, where are the blogs written by stay-at-work-all-day moms?

I've read some glorious posts recently with shiny photographs of coffee by the laptop, and it's all too much for this lady.  I'm about to quit the internet, folks.  See ya around.
